Abracadabra~
~*Marge Tindal*~

I rubbed two words together
to try and make a spark
That would leave my pen
taking flight straight to your heart~

But all that I could muster
was wafting words a’smokin’
As my rhymes sat in smolder
of heartfelt thoughts unspoken~

Suddenly it came upon me
in ejaculated thought
I’d pen a tiny little rhyme
that perhaps would be bought~

Then when I was done
I laughed loudly to myself
Why this was pure drivel …
it should stay on the back of the shelf~

So much for rubbing two words together
Well, for today anyhow …………~


Some days it pours poetically ... some days .... it just pours~
But, it's ALWAYS a great day to be a poet~
