Part 1 is posted several days ago in Dark Poetry.

I see you!

In everlasting darkness
It would appear,
I have lived my life - until you.
Never, but never have I beheld
Such glorious light.
Everything appears
As if I am seeing it
For the very first time.
I am surrounded by such beauty,
Magnificent colors,
And awe-inspiring sights.
I am blinded
By the brightness which appears
To be leading me
Towards an optimistic future.
Not enough words can express
My gratitude to you.
How sad it would have been
If I had continued to live
In the ignorance and darkness
Of my shallow life.
Thank you
From the bottom of my heart,
For showing me,
Sharing with me,
Your light, your joy of being,
Your appreciation of your existence.
Thank you is very inadequate
Under such circumstances,
BUT I DO - THANK YOU.

I be me BUT who does me be?

Thanks, I took the phrase I see you in everlasting darkness and wrote two pieces, using two sides of a coin so's to speak.  The darker piece is posted in the Dark Poetry forum. It was a bit of a fun exercise.

I be me BUT who does me be?

I like this, I also read the one in Dark Poetry Forum. Both good.
