When day is done and night falls soft,
he comes to me from dreams aloft.
Standing there, arms open wide,
he beckons me to come inside.
Without a word I know his thought,
it’s in his eyes, their meaning caught.
His look tells me he wants me there,
I take his hand, tonight beware.
He pulls me in so soft yet strong,
into those arms, where I belong.
A kiss so sweet, his body warm,
feel now the coming of the storm.
With firmer touch he makes it known,
his need for me has set the tone.
My answer whispered in his ear,
the words I choose to make it clear.
Along the way I smell his scent,
heightened pleasure, hearts relent.
We give in to the night’s embrace,
a moonlit dance in lovers’ grace.
Two as one when passions born,
feel now the calming of the storm.
