The Vagabond Sea

Erotic smells a flower
of a lost and purple fashion
lithe and languid forms
dance upon the senses
triggering the slightest rain
this vision other worldly
can it see beyond the sane
is anyone but who
they say they are
no more picket fences
all is open war
behind the eyes
our menace hides
each protect their lies...
and to a petal
a soft brush of trust
flutters damply down
to land upon a misplaced listen
and it will all go round again

One's not half two it's two are halves of one EE Cummings

don't feel too bad blue, this came from a place and state of mind that is not ordinarily visited. I could tell you why i wrote it, but not exactly why i wrote what i did.

This has a nice ring to it, but you're not letting us know everything, I'm sure.  Joyce

beautiful words Red Feather.

"Build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life". Terry Pratchett
