Softly
Each petal caresses the spirit.
This garden
of tranquility and wonder
soothing
fountain waters gracing senses.

Mystic abundance

There are Faeries here,
this final morn of summer.
With childlike delight,
enhanced by gardens endles flora,
one can sense their presence,
hear the beat of gossamer wings.
Playfully they dance and sing.
Unaware
and with joyful abandon,
that Autumn begins the morrow,
For sunbeams yet embrace
a Summers soft caress.

What matters they the seasons.
delighting
only in this moment,
this hour,
of lingering Summers kiss.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Oh Ellie ~ What a beautiful read this afternoon, I felt as if I were there watching those sweet fairies ~ and saying a lovely farewell to summer.  I've missed reading these beautiful weavings of yours.  Bonnie

Ellie, this was pure magical delight. I enjoyed it so much.

Question? Where do our little faeries go in the winter? It's too cold for them to stay under the plants....

Hugs, Marti
