Another Mother's Day to come,
Another day without my son.
His sisters try their very best,
To take me from my empty nest.
But they'll forgive me just the same.
If my thoughts often turn to him.

How long, how long, for time to heal?
How long, how long, this void to feel?
He was my pride, my joy so long,
Can now my sorrow be so wrong?
I say goodbye with every night,
Say it again with morning's light.

He was firstborn, my only son;
To love until my race was run.
How could I ever think that he,
Would leave this world ahead of me?
How empty now is my tomorrow.
Lord be with me in my sorrow.

Dear Joyce:  I know the Lord will be with you and give you some comfort.  I am so sorry for what you are going through. Hope that you will still find happiness in being with your daughters and grand-children and that will over shadow the sorrow you feel.

Joyce~
Oh, dearest lady ... I'm so sorry for your loss.
I understand your sorrow and especially how it would affect you on this day perhaps even more.

My mother suffered the loss of a son and I know that it really was difficult for her.

Please know that there are those who understand ...

I'm so sorry for your loss, Joyce. Losing a child must be the most painful loss that there is. (((HUGS)))
