Lady of the Night

Smoke, mingled with peroxides convoluted curl,
Her lips a filter tipped memory of acts performed,
Coiled serpent on one shoulder,
Entwined with indelible sentiment,
"Bobby 4 ever",
Tan skin fading into white, into tan,
Once held taught by black leather promises,
Following perspirations path, down undulating spine,
Ending in violet silks swelling peach,
Payment lost in langeries complexity, for an instant,
Then deftly gathered, hooked 'tween flesh and fishnet,
Rising she, mythical gaudy bird from embers lust,
Tracing trail of disgarded garments to the door,
I finger crushed linens impression of her form,
Last echoes of contracts complete,
"Bye hon', thanks....."
And then I sleep.

Olias

What a beautiful poem... you seem to have a great talent here.  Keep up your writing!  I look forward to reading more from you!

Wow, Olias, what a unique take on this subject.  Your words are clever and the imagery paints an often "ugly or "controversial" topic as beautiful.  It's great to see the world through your eyes.  Keep sharing your gems, my friend! I wonder, do you speak from experience, that's okay, your secret's safe with me

Take care,
Melissa Honeybee

Wonderful Verse in a most artistic shape, Though I hope the one you were inspired by was not so disproportionate thru the hips...lol
Very well thought out.
