I go through life thinking your not there
I go through lifr thinking you dont care
I go through life thinking its not fair

I go through hours and days of fear
Thinking I wanna get away from here
I struggle to keep back each tear

Im scared of what I see
Is this the real me
That I forever will be

You have painted your hurt very nicely, Silent Soul. Well done.

Ss, this is a beautiful poem... yet sad..  Keep your chin up, everything will be alright in the end.

"Even a fool knows you can't touch the stars, but it doesn't stop a wise man from trying."
Harry Anderson, "Night Court"

Sad words and my heart is heavy for you.  I send a hug and remind you that in each of us there is a strength that will override and protect us.  Beautiful poem.  Mark B.

I wish I could count how many times I've felt that way... truly a beautiful piece- close to home.

Such sorrowful expressions Silent Soul ... we can each change ourselves and write our own happiness into our lives ...

A friend of mine once wrote:
"I'd give you a rainbow if I could, but it has to rain first"     Always liked that one ...

Best wishes and take care,
/Kit

Elizabeth,
I understand what you are writing. I was doing the same thing the other day. These are some of the line that appeared on the paper.
I wished on Venus and Mars
For only a moment to be ours.
I wished upon a wishing well.
I double bubbled up a spell.
I was a sight, I was a knight.
I held a candle to the light.
I searched my soul the holy grail.
I even tried to read some braille.
I charged a dragon on the way.
Planted roses so I could stay.
And in the moment of this throng,
I thought I heard you sing a song.

It just went on and on. So you see we all go
through mental messes. Bless you, be well.
Love Sy
Forgive the spelling.
