Looks of repressed passion, Loving whispers of compassion, Your beauty unravels before my gaze, Exploring your heart's maze; Eyes imploring, looks enticing, My heart, frantically, shouting, "Ohhh, but why don't you see, One spirit split in half, are we" Lo.....A slight turn, I catch my breath, Heart skips a beat, momentary stillness, One look, deep and fathomless, Emotions work their way out, kindling The dormant flame, a sigh escaping. Our eyes meet, seize 'n lock, Key to our hearts can only unlock, Staring on, memorizing intricate details, Asking questions, searching answers, "Where were you, for so long...?" Hungrily, yet carefully, no pretence, You search my eyes, for essence, Like a bee sipping nectar, You suck me into your hunger, An active volcano, I'm aware of, "Know what its capable of, But will it do it now ?" Desire in your eyes, stroke my soul, Birds chant, I hear the heaven call, Coming forward, reaching out, we care, Distance apart, we no longer can bear, Heart pounding faster, With each step nearer, Energy entering, strength, vivacity, Forming a charge of electricity, Heavens rejoice, spirits rejoin, Stars twinkle, hearts shine. Wade through my hair, caress my cheek, Melting under your touch, for more I seek, Skins touch, velvety, full of richness, Your lips on mine, the softness, Waves of weakness ripple through, Pulse quickens, sparks fly, emotions brew, Our kiss, not union of two lovers, but Eternal mingling of spirits. "Don't let go", he said, "For each other we are made", He mused,"If you do, I'd lose one half, For with you, lies the other half...." My eyes spoke for me, he heard..... "Never, never ever...." Beautifully expressed poem Shilpi, this one. I am glad to have read this and have thoroughly enjoyed what I read...
