In the space between moments

Sighs of light caress the night
And fly on pinions gold
Dreams of yore I do explore
When blue eyes enfold...

Angel breath allows no death
To ice my weary heart
For Heaven flowers with the power
To let my life restart...

Windows of my soul, they know
The pain of being closed
But with a kiss I feel such bliss
And love I'm now bestowed...

Darkness falls in lacy shawls
Clinging to my face
But the tears enlaced in fear
Melt with your embrace...

Fly with me to silver seas
So we can dance the shores
With feathered wings tomorrow brings
Love forevermore...

Krista, this is impeccable, flawless, full of the imagery of a rhapsody told like no other. I admire and am amazed by your poetic growth since I've been reading your work.

In a word, stunning!

Beautiful poem Krista... Loved the title and
"Windows of my soul, they know
The pain of being closed
But with a kiss I feel such bliss
And love I'm now bestowed..."
and the last two lines... enjoyed greatly!

Krista,
This is most beautiful...many splendid lines in it...almost all of them...particularly...

Darkness falls in lacy shawls
Clinging to my face
But the tears enlaced in fear
Melt with your embrace...

Fly with me to silver seas
So we can dance the shores
With feathered wings tomorrow brings
Love forevermore...
...
terrific work.
Many regards,
Sudhir.

Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;

Krista~

That was a great poem... -sighs-  I especially loved your last line, "Fly with me to silver seas  So we can dance the shores
With feathered wings tomorrow brings Love forevermore..."  Silver seas... now ain't that a pretty sight...
