Life is very hard with all it's challenges
And puzzle pieces that never seem to fit together
Often we miss the true meaning of life
Time flies by so quickly, because we think we have forever

Take a moment out of your day
Really be grateful for what you've got
Because I'm willing to bet all I have
There's someone who would die to have your spot

Everyday I learn something about this thing we call life
I am not perfect, and neither are you
But perhaps we can learn from our mistakes and each other
And make our time count, by the things we do

Life is a never ending cycle
Full of things to make you laugh and cry
Tommorrow is not promised and yesterday is gone
So let's not let life pass us by

This world can be lonely and cold
But it can be beautiful and make you sigh
Don't believe me?
Well next time a baby is born, look at the tears in its eye

Everything has a purpose and a plan
Many things we don't understand
But God wanted it to be this way
And when it's your time to go....believe, and he will take your hand

"Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends."

"Fate exists but it can only take you so far,
Because once you're there
It's up to you to make it happen."

Amy*
I loved this, I'm printing it as soon as I'm
done replying    I hadn't thought to much
about life in general and making the most of
it until I met Shane and his family, one
visit to the children's ward of any hospital
will make you thank your lucky stars for the
life you have...and what I found so amazing
is that the parent's there are not "why God"
most of the time, they are only thankful for
one more moment with the one they love.
Thank you for this post and thank you for
being you sweet poet!
