People were drawn into the square
Like moths are drawn to fire
A scent of spring was in the air
The spring itself was higher
And walking down the dusty path
The memory comes back again
And once again I hear your laugh
And once again I hold your hand
And once again I see your face
Reflecting in the cup of tea
And then dissolving into space
I’ve kept that space inside of me
I’ve kept your laugh inside of me
I’ve kept your face inside of me...

The faded carving on the tree
Words... “+AK forever friends”
Whatever happened to “NT?”
Has nature lost its common sense?
Did time forget about us?
This isn’t true; it’s all a lie
Imagine sky without the stars
Imagine stars without the sky
The sky is lit and stars seem bright
Reflecting in the cup of tea
They slowly fade into the night
I’ve kept that night inside of me
I’ve kept a star inside of me
I’ve kept your light inside of me...

A wonderful poem Master. Really enjoyed this. Sounds great when read aloud.

dear master,
this is beautifully, sadly touching... i know all too well the feeling of having a friend slip away... your pen betrays too well the secrets of the human heart...

sincerely,
a sad tomato

you're such a beautiful freak... i wish there were more just like you...
