I'm a wanderer, a nomad...I don't live in one particular area, Just wherever I end up.

You consider it a mistake
Took a part of me
Left me now with something...
A part of you
growing inside of me
And then you abandon us
Not just you and I
But you, me and the child within
And you expect me to be happy?
You expect me to accept it?
I'm sorry, I cannot
I cannot be joyfull of your absence
I cannot be accepting of your abandonment
And your little "mistake" has
Given me hope
But you like to take that hope
and crumple it
Like you did my heart
I resented you for hurting me
And now I'm resenting you for hurting
A part of me
A part of you....
And now when he asks "where is my father?"
What should I tell him?
Should I tell him you died?
Should I tell him you were a deadbeat?
I do not want to lie
I do not want to make the "mistake"
Of telling him something
That will backfire....
So I must tell the truth
That which will hurt him so much
And I don't want to see him hurt
And I resent you
For the hurt that you are
Putting both of us through.....

"It was my love that did us both to death. " -Sylvia Plath

Ouch, this sounds like a sore subject to him... My congratulations to you on being happy with your baby. Doesnt sound like he or she is a mistake after all.

Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go.
