Earth 3rd Rock from the sun!!

Sort of a silly poem.....my mind kind of wandering back to child hood thinking of that special toy!!
please enjoy........

When I was one
you slept with me
When I was two
I played with you
When I was three
discovering me
When I was four
i wanted you more
When I was five
off to school
I left you behind
When i was six
i gave you to
my Mom to fix
When i was seven
eight and nine
i really didn't find the time
When I was ten
I played with you again
When I was eleven
I found you
under my bed
When I was twelve
I put you up on my shelf
When I was 13, 14,15 and 16
I thought you were a silly thing
When I was 17, 18, 19 and 20
all i really cared about was money
now i'm grown
where did I put you?

I need to find you
so I can tell you
Pooh Bear, how I do love you!

Great!
My love, Caroline has a Pooh bear which she keeps on the bedside cabinet at night.
During the day he has our bed.
I can remember telling her once that I loved her more that Pooh Bear loves his honey!
Thank you for this fun entry.

Love is like the measles.....the older you are, the harder it hits you!

JulieAnn~
So sweet when those precious memories
go tumbling across your recall.

Cute poem

Ah my good friend Pooh bear. I remember reading those books for the first about a year ago and I was amazed at how much lies in between the words. He is a wonderful bear.

a wonderful poem, lovely.

This is precious!! Just like the Pooh Bears of the world and other childhood soft toys are. Just like childhood memories are. Thanks for sharing this!

Love and hugs,
Lizzie
