You ask if I'm dissapointed
Once I have seen the show,
It's called,"Life in the Real World"
Why you ask, I do not know.

But if this were a movie
And it ended just this way,
I'd say, "I want my money back
This is one bad filmed play!"

Or if this were a dreamland
Free from all dread and care,
I'd say, wake up it's not that bad
You're having a nightmare.

But no, this is called reality
No suprize twists in the end,
And if things aren't quite like you dreamed
Anything can and does happen, my friend.

So no need to apologize
Or feel bad, things are so,
This is a real slice of life
That here I've come to know.

So I say, "Live and let live!"
For all their path must choose,
But don't cease to seek enrichment
It you don't try, that's when YOU lose.

Don't give up and don't lose heart
Your intentions are well placed,
For seeds of good and kindness now
Will not all be erased.

You know I'll always love you
Whatever you may do,
Life goes on-enjoy it
And you will have your own life true.

"GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb)

Very nicely said, David..

I particularly like this stanza
quote:

Don't give up and don't lose heart
                   Your intentions are well placed,
For seeds of good and kindness now
                   Will not all be erased.
