I have slept with angels
Who crest my soul to keep me pure,
That dance on wings of air
To my fallen graces put there.

We have made our beds in stately dreams
Of nights we raged out at lifes cruel sting,
Bringing our passions clearly through
Those nights I loved each one of you

Our dress made pure, of nights one color
The purest of shades was black, none other,
With faces drawn against the light
We became those creatures who blessed the night.

But more to this, we became entranced
At how we loved our simple plans,
Of evenings spent in company's good grace
To sleep with friends and lovers who gave us peace.

So rest your souls, good memories gone past
Those days stay sweetly forever before my eyes,
And as I live my life for future days
Those days of yester year shall not fade away.

Great poetry here Michael.
