Tonight I Light This Candle

Tonight I light this candle with every thought of you in mind
And, only for the great at heart, will I light it everytime
It's from the deepest to the smallest to every way that I can see
I light this candle now for every part of you in me...

Tonight I light this candle for what I wish to one day hold
And, I light it for that ending to a story never told
So, inside I'll keep with me what a thought can surely give
And, hold onto you in every way in every day I live...

God, tonight I light this candle for every prayer I've sent her way
And, for every sleepless night I've watched the night turn to day
For every moment that has passed those nights with her so strong at heart
I light this candle now and again for every mile we sleep apart...

Tonight I light this candle for the eyes I rarely see
And, I light it and I hope that through yours you're seeing me
Tonight I light this candle for the strength to speak the words
And, I light it so in time they can easily be heard...

Tonight I light this candle just to feel your hand in mine
And, if I could just taste the way to freedom it would be forever this time
Tonight I light this candle for the smile I feel inside
And, I light it from these thoughts everytime I close my eyes...

Tonight I light this candle for the future I believe
And I light it for what the night has been set out to be
Tonight I light this candle for the soon and welcome change
So, tonight I light this candle in your name...

Saunni~
And make mine gardenia .....
this is stunning !

What a wonderful light shines from
the glow of your candle
lit in the name of love.
