The blooming
~----------------~

Early morning rays
From the summer sun,
Dawn is born, twilight mist stays,
Dewdrops on the bud, run
Down, at a leisurely pace,
As he enjoyed the cool space,
Between the dawn and the morn,
Gazing at a bloomer being born.

As lovely petals uncurled,
A tiny droplet shone,
Nature's beauty unfurled,
Diamond shaped, 'twas a unique stone,
A bead dazzling like a crystal sphere,
Happy sounds of birds he began to hear,
Between the dawn and the morn,
Awaiting a bloomer being born.

A garden where daisies and lilies posed,
There it was blooming, a lovely rose,
Impatient, he waited in front of a door closed,
Anxious, as the morning sun rose,
A tiny wail, a shrill cry he heard, quite hoarse
Smiles all around, 'Congratulations', said the nurse,
'It’s a boy'. She added, 'and the mother is doing fine'
Relieved, thanking God, he thought, 'the bloomer is mine'.

This is probably the most beautiful of all tributes I've ever read on the birth of one's child!  This is absolutely remarkable! Did I tell you I liked it?  Keep this one, Sudhir...it indeed has on it the mark of "Legacy"!

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

~Sudhir~

You have "blossomed" into a great poet!  This brought a smile to my face.  Perfect imagery and description.  What a unique and beautiful way to look at nature and relating it to the beauty of the birth of a child.

Take care,

Sudhir, you have several different styles which make you such a good poet. This is so well done I had to read it three times. Keep them coming.

Brian, Melissa, ethome,
Thanks a lot, I am really happy that you enjoyed this one.
...as far as blossoming into a great poet is concerned, well I am still a baby, learning to walk...

Thank you very much for all your very kind words.
