Saturday morn
At Passions Place
As Open Eight
Now shows its face

Poets' adorn
We surely need
Some idle prate
We'll write indeed

Goodbye seven,
will miss you so much,
you were a piece of heaven
where I first felt passions gentle touch.
Welcome eight,
I am sure the memories
in this new forum will be just as great.

Nan~

This is a good thing ... so many fine memories in each Open since I entered.
This one will be memorable also, what with all the great talent in this place.

I've nothing but admiration and respect for these forums ... what a wonderful family !

Ron, your mansion grows !
Thank you for adding another room for us to visit and decorate with our poetry.

As seven ends, comes up eight,
Feel lucky, happy trusting fate,
Poets around, write to your hearts desire,
May our words blaze, setting hearts afire
Meanwhile, be sure to buy some extinguisher,
for its also dangerous to play with fire,
tenth June, year two thousand, the date,
the birth of this forum Open number eight...

Many regards,
have fun and take care,
Sudhir

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

Eight sure feels like a good number to me, although Seven was a good place to be too.

As much as I'd like to post in here
My recent endeavors I wouldn't dare
Everything I write seems to turn out erotic
Naughty, explicit or somewhat exotic
So back to adult where I will have some more fun
It's all I can write when I ain't gettin none!

I was surprised to see #8 here. They go by so fast these days don't they?
So many wonderful Archives we have to look into now!

God's mansion has so many rooms,
not unlike our dear, dear Ron's
and now he's added number eight...
his rooms go on and on...

Many folk will come, and go,
and some will linger on;
their poetry will remain
as will their heartfelt song.

Yeah Ron!

Absent-mindedly late as usual , but then again , it's not really a race , so I'll just take my sweet time and try to post something worth reading this time .
