One Or The Other

The power of suggestion
Reigns supreme over a disorganised,
And ultimately teenage mind.

I knew I loved her.
I knew I missed her.

She says "Do you want me or just a partner?"
And I curse the part of me that says
"She's got a point."

So here I am,
Tortured by wonder,
Sentenced by my own doubt.

Too young to make sense of what I feel
When I feel the pain of being too young.

Welcome to Passions Lurdburger.

This is a very good poem. I love it! Great style I say...well...keep up the good stuff, looking forward to read more of your poems.

God bless

Waves...amazing hey? Wind blowing over smoothe ocean water creates shear. The longer the wind blows, and the futher the fetch, the more energy gets transferred from the wind to the water. What started off as a breeze 1 000km away, ends up as a glass-faced barrel at some far off beach.

great poem...so true...!
kinda hard when you're a kid, but at times you don't wanna be and then other times you do cause you can't decide....
good luck with it all and keep on writing!
