Angel in the Darkness

Although you cannot see me,
I'm watching over you just the same
And although you cannot hear me,
I'm there, calling out your name
Although you cannot feel me,
I'm holding your hand ever so tight
And although you just don't know it,
I'm always on time to say goodnight
And when your tears of anguish
Whisper down your golden skin,
I'm praying that you feel my love
Comfort you from deep within
And even from a thousand miles,
You're never far from my heart
Because you've reached a place inside my soul
That could never break apart
But even when your time comes,
And you don't make it up here with me
I'd follow you through the burning fires
Just to be with you eternally.

Another beautiful poem, wow!

Your writing kinda reminds me of Jeff Buckley lyrics, the whole knowing the value of stuff, and appreciating it.
