It's about 11:30 on a school night.
My parent's bedroom light flipped off an hour ago and I checked to see if my dad was snoring.
You should be here any minute now.
I've got my lava lamp on so we will have some unsuspicious light.
It glows red and casts eerie shadows on the ceiling.
The radio is going quietly to cover the little noise you'll make when you come through the window.
The time dwindles and I drift off to sleep.
Suddenly, I'm awakened by a soft tapping on the window.
I get up and quietly open the window.
You come in slowly and carefully, making as little noise as possible.
You take off your shoes and hide them under the bed as I make sure my door is securely locked.
You come up behind me and put your icy cold hands on my stomach and kiss me softly.
I lay down on the bed and you follow on top of me.
The soft kisses turn into passionate kisses.
needy kisses, hungry for love.
We fool around for a while until a love song comes on the radio.
It's so quiet that we lay perfectly still in each others arms;  Cuddling and snuggling with you whispering the words softly into my ear.
The song ends and we realize it's 2:30.
We find the clothes that were shed earlier and help each other dress, both of us not wanting to part.
I pull your shoes out from under the bed and we say goodbye.
You climb out the window, quietly turnign around for one last kiss.
I slowly close the window, watching you disappear into the darkness.
I stare out the window into the blackness for a while, wishing to see you returning.
Eventually I straighten up my bed and turn to radio off.
I look around for any evidence that you had been here and find nothing.
Finally I close my blinds and turn off the lava lamp.
The room is thrown into darkness an dI wander over to unlock my door.
I climb into my messy bed, restless and unable to sleep.
I can't stop thinking about you.

The next thing I know, my alarm is ringing and I'm wondering, "Was it all just a dream?"

i liked this sorta story....you make it seem really realistic and yet to me it probably isn't half as much as it was to you. good luck with your love....

I really like this poem. I can identify with what you're going through. Unfortunately, I'm very chicken and wouldn't dare try to pull this off. Great poem though!!!
