I've shed my mask for you...here I am....enjoy...me.

Another Day and Night

He spreads apart his eyelids.
Staring nervously into the blur.
He already begins to fear.
Frightened by the day ahead
and then the night he'll find.
He's not even crawled from bed...
but still he wants to cry.

He falls away once more
to dream of something else.
Something besides his day.
Something with a happy ending...
or doesn't end at all.
Something with fulfilling love
that doesn't have to fall.

He peers awake once more.
His neck and back so hurt.
His feet now find the floor.
He know this day will turn to night
before the work is done.
Then night bring along the pain
for which there is no sun.
The pain of being here again.
Beaten and alone.
Another day that turned to night
before his work is done.
Another night that turns to day
dwelling in the fear
of another day and night without
three words he needs to hear.

JEREMY I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!  There, now you've heard those three words and you don't have to hurt so bad.  I know it's not the same coming from me, but you know I'm not lying to you.  Come hang with me in open.

Wow! What an awesome poem. Another wonderful piece of art Jeremy, and a wonderful 300th post as well hey

May the next 300 post be even better than the last.

Keep writing the good stuff

Waves...amazing hey? Wind blowing over smoothe ocean water creates shear. The longer the wind blows, and the futher the fetch, the more energy gets transferred from the wind to the water. What started off as a breeze 1 000km away, ends up as a glass-faced barrel at some far off beach.
