Everyday I look up
and stare at the falling sun
as I continue to work
on the land we once owned...
It's mine now,
but you're working with me-
no doubt in that,
I see your handprints in the sky
as it slowly rains
and I watch the cars again
that drove behind you that day
you left me all alone.
Without making sense,
I knew you hadn't gone,
because that very day
when the world around had cried,
I looked into the clouds
and saw you reaching down,
leaving your handprints in the sky.

This is such a lovely poem. I like it alot, and it also reminded me, that even if the ones we love, was taken away from us so unexpectedly, they are always with us, and they will never be forgotten as long as we are still on this earth.

This is a fantastic poem, keep up the good work.

Best wishes

Waves...amazing hey? Wind blowing over smoothe ocean water creates shear. The longer the wind blows, and the futher the fetch, the more energy gets transferred from the wind to the water. What started off as a breeze 1 000km away, ends up as a glass-faced barrel at some far off beach.
