i've fallen hard
and now im hurt.
im in a strange place,
i've never been here before.
its all so foreign to me.
something feels broken.
i made a pretty loud thump
as i fellto the ground.
theres a sharp painful stinging in my chest.
i lie down,
and curl myself into a ball,
and just cry.

i've been lying here for days.
my wound still hasnt healed.
i've begun to think it'll never subside.
the waves of pain are immense.

all of a sudden i see someone approaches.
a stranger with smiling eyes and wavy blonde
hair.
i build a nice sturdy mote around myself quikly.
i decorate it nicely
and paint a picture on it
of a smiling giggling happy girl.

so now im safe in my little mote,
nothing can ever come in,
and nothing can ever come out.

We all have a face that we hide behind when we are afraid to let anything out or anything in. You describe your feelings very well. Thanks for posting.

I know how you feel, I have spent the last 6 months hiding from how I feel and what has happened to me, but trust me, hiding doesn't solve anything, eventually we have to release ourselves and move on...  but trust me, youcan't do that until you are ready...  in the mean time, keep yourself happy and don't do anything till you are ready!!

Great poem - we are always here for you!

Great job of expressing this poem!  If this is how you feel, I hope things get better soon.
