Away I had gone Away from the people Away from the noise Away I had gone To another place There were other people But they were not those I knew Not those who knew me Away I had gone Away I had gone To another time Where nothing was the same Where creativity was supressed But the thoughts came unbidden Away I had gone Away I had gone Away from it all Away from them "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. |

In poetry, time does not matter. A great piece can take all of 5 minutes or two days...time is not an essence. Your 5 minute piece however, is an excellent point for us all to utillize and think about how truly great it is to get away! Very true, in fact, the two poems of mine that I like the most took me about 10 minutes for one and 25 for the other (in detention I might add). "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. |
