~~~I know this is short its jsut something off the top of my head and the top of my heart....
I walk down the hall
my heart is in my throat
i am scared to death
that they all know
Can they see it in my eyes?
all these thoughts im trying to hide
or do they hear it when i speak
im so afraid i feel like such a geek
I dont know what i worry for
its not like about me they want to know more
So i stop tensing up like a stiff board
and i quit acting like such a coward
Because they will never know
they dont take the time to look inside where the real person grows
so they will never see
that inside
depression is killing me
The world is like a mirror; frown at it, and it frowns at you. Smile and it smiles, too
Be kind,for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle
This is a good poem. I can really relate to your feelings in this one. We all get depressed sometimes, but just try to think of all the great things in the world, and you'll cheer up real fast!
I know the feeling all to well, Jen.  Very deep thoughts here.  Don't let the demons within you destroy you though...look for the light in everything around you.  That's how I got over it.  Wonderful work!
I can relate to this, as it is brilliantly expressed..one of the ones that just 'hit you'..keep posting
And forcing our darkest souls to unfold...
And pushing us into self-destruction...."
Depression will thin out sooner or later, Im sad to hear that you are so sad. Keep pulling through and things should work out, anyways, great piece, good job getting all your emotions out.
Love,
uch, I know how that goes, oh hell, I'm going through that right now. Well, I can't tell you to cheer up or what not, cuase I know it never works, telling someone to cheer up is like telling them to move a mountian, it just dosn't work; ya have to give them something to get around the mountain. Hope ya get better soon.
