So close but yet so far
The jealousy comes between
Friendships lost but remembered
In a fantasy unforseen

Together with the fun we had
And all the secrets shared
Munipulated by selfish insanity
Forgot that we cared

Memories cast away
Into the darkest area of mind
Healing from inflicted wounds
Covering a vastness of time

Love we shared as friends
Thrown away at no cost
Falling through a maze of darkness
Without you I am lost

Throughout the toughest times
We helped make each believe
We will always love each other
To the strongest, selfless degree

For whenever I was down
You were there to understand
My shoulder to cry on
The one to hold my hand

We lost what we once had
Over simple confused madness
Never again will we hold together
The secret of perfect sadness

What a great poem!!! I have also felt that pain of friendships lost. It hurts! Just remember that everything happens for a reason. Keep smiling...every day brings new promise!

kimmy~~~ive been there before...me and my best friend stopped talking for awhile...then thanks to my boyfriend and something really bad happening we started talking again...and it was the worst time in my life...i had no one to turn to...then my boyfriend came into my life...and everything became just perfect...i hope that one day you and your friend start talking again...good poem!!!< !signature-->
