Evey night I look up at the sky
and watch the glowing moon-
so still, bright, and beautiful.
I only wish you were here lying next to me,
to see it's beauty too.
Then I realize you can still see it's beauty,
even though you aren't next to me.
You can see the moon wherever you may be.
And I hope your thinking of me
When you look up at the sky.
I know I'm thinking of you.
Every day;
All the time...

Welcome to Passions!
This poem really struck a chord in me. I really enjoyed it. I'll be looking for more of your work!

Wanting to be with someone but unable to attain that goal. *sigh* the story of my life. Anyhoo, I like this poem, welcome to passions and I"ll be looking for more of your work.

dear cutiepie,
an old and familiar thought for those of us that love or have loved someone far from our reach... i, myself, have written a number of poems dealing with this same connection of soul and spirit that is felt when you realize that there is more in this world to tie you to your lover than simple sight and touch... a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite concepts...

sincerely,
a sad tomato

you're such a beautiful freak... i wish there were more just like you...
