Purify me God, I do allow you
Cleanse my impure body
Exorcize my obsessed soul

I'll burn everything that weares her mark
And wait for the dark
The preying darkness
Like a reptile goddess
She ate me whole

She's the ruiner
But I won't let her ruin me
She spoke the sweetest words
All lies, lies, lies
It's all she knows

She shaped me like clay
Now I see gluttony brings decay
She sent me down here again
Twirling down the downward spiral
To this familiar world of pain

I'm the ash from the burning
The wind will blow me away
Erase my trail
We were just a blaze
Though she's still burning bright
She enticed me with her beauty and charm
Then cheated on me, enchantress of harm

I hate you!
I wish you were dead
I hate you!
My precious whore
I hate you!
My love

Now this is really dark, Broken.  Feeling a little anger, were we?  I like it, I really do.  Nice work.  Hardrock

I'll just quietly say I understand. We are not all like 'her' though!

Ohhhh the bitterness, well expressed! I like this one!!! It does dissipate over time though...

Click~ You understand, thank you

Hardrock~ Anger? Yeah you can say that. When you find out that the one you're in love with has been ****ing around, you don't feel happy exactly. Glad you liked it

Poet deVine~ I'm not quite sure you really understand, but thank you for trying.

Deborah1~ I hope you're right, about time...
Thank you for your time and understanding

Wren~ Wow! Thank you thank you thank you!!

wonderful...you've managed to sum up the confusing feelings that go with giving your heart to another and having it torn to shreds. agian, wonderful.

I'm so sorry I'm late but I haven't been here in a while. I love this piece very much Broken. You voice your words well...plenty of emotion beaming out at us...the anger, the pain, and all those *lovely* things that come along with it. I realize that you're down but please don't let it pick at you for long...you'll find better because you deserve better.   Take care my friend...
