Devote Devote Devoting my life To an endless smile Seek Seeking a way To smile and disobey Feel Feel the wind As it brushes skin Smell Smell the sin As we all grin Come to our side and be my friend Your passion will get you in If you die on the way You will only cement your legacy Hear Hear a Heart That beats for you Love Love a man Who does not understand Grieve Grieve for me If you ever leave Believe Believe in us Though I’m not much Take me with, please don’t say no What could hurt if I don’t know? To die alone would be your loss I am always with you every river we cross |

I've read other poems of yours and I like your work. In the end is a ?? cry and a plea to take you with them, very heart felt like a child within saying please don’t' go the kind of cry you can't ignore, and to devote yourself to someone no matter what. A love unconditional, very rare. you have a great heart, in the giving. Take care. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

~Devote, Seek, Feel, Smell, Hear, Love, Grieve, Believe....I love how this one was written. I had to take a deep breath after reading it. It's a pleading cry and it's so emotional....much enjoyed. Thank you for sharing it. *Peace. |
