Inspired by American Beauty and a certain man... I see myself sliding into a pool of rose petals. Silky, exquisitely soft, they caress my skin. Scarlet and mauve stains of love color me. I am surrounded by intoxicating fragrance. I am immersed in cool, delicious, seductive, intricate bits of no longer living flowers. If you pass by at just the right time, you can join me... This poem reminds me of a commen special effect used in shojo anime- cherry blossems swirling through the air. It's a similar concept.....and very pretty! Anyway....I loved your poem, and the romaticism in it was beautiful! Now I feel in the mood to dance around among pink and red flower petles!
