As time transcends
The crevice
In my mind
Utter desiccation.
Darkness once again
Returns
And dejected
I succumb.

Tara, are you having a week like mine? This is very sad. Hope all is ok. Nicely put.

Tara, what an intense poem! Teetering on the brink of the abyss. Not like your usual ones at all. Like cat, i hope you are ok!!!!!
Great piece, BTW. Right up my street!

Ouch! "I succumb"
What horrible defeat! To stand at the brink of sadness and despair only to loose all composure and self control- to succumb....What a powerful word! (what a powerful poem for that matter!)
Great job! I loved it!
