JUDGMENT

No seconds ticking
Matter is missing
I'm awake in a place
Darkness of grace

Thoughts transform
Opposite to the norm
Direction to where
Mind moving to there

It's not a dream
So it would seem
Where does this go
I really don't know

A light is calling
At the end of the tunnel
Feels like falling
A vacuum funnel

Drawn with fear
Destination unclear
But starting to feel
My life a movie reel

The light expands
Into two large hands
Then a voice in my mind
The most wonderful kind

My cry of repent
For this is JUDGMENT

I see by your poem, Insect, that you too have traveled the dark tunnel.  Interesting, isn't it?  I really liked the structure and style of your poem.  Hardrock

This poem has an almost hallucinogenic quality. I had to read it out loud to appreciate it fully. Very good indeed!

Thanks to all for responding

SpitFire…I love scary dreams!

catalinamoon…Chills are at there best when
they travel down the back of
                          your neck! Thank you

Hardrock…Thanks Hardrock! But the subway tunnel is the
only thing that comes close enough to that
description for me. Have you experienced
something similar to this poem? Love to hear
                   it in a poem.

lotharingia…Thank you very much!
                      Sometimes I read poems
                      out loud too!

Haleyja…Thank you!
I wonder if it is a final judgment?
Let's say you get sent from there to
the other place!!! Would you get
judged in his place? Maybe he don't
                 want you either!!

Deborah1…Thanks a lot!
I'm glad you found it interesting!
