angels soar
beyond
the grasp of my futile fingers
they taunt the whole of me
yell beautiful curses
God
let me tear the wings from their graceful backs
let me rip silken white feathers from between their shoulder blades
let me trample their wings
sticky with blood
     Give me their holiness to shred
     Make them damned

This is intense! Wild! Fierce! A soul in Hell! I think I am going to be a great fan of yours!

Wren, that was very touching and sad. Nicely written.

~Mmm,...I like it's power.  Found myself gritting my teeth as I read it again,...as if it were me speaking. *Peace.
