The sky a permanent deep, deep grey
cold, frozen, there is no other way
to live inside the frozen day

When all other dreams decay
depend on the icy frozen day
all your feelings go away

When you freeze, you will not feel
the numbness does not bite your heel
you will be happily unreal

Because the frozen day ne'er exists
it is only a dream, and dreams resist
to become alive for who they've kissed

so I cry for the pleasure I have missed

~Hhhmmm,...the thought of being frozen at times appeals to me.  To not feel, to be happily unreal, goodness numbness when it gets that bad is bliss to me.  Nicely written poem...although I may have taken it another route your words reached me as they did.  Great work. Take care. *Peace.
