She is nothing,
Others pretend to see her,
But she is actually transparent,
And they won't bother again.

Her feelings don't matter,
Humiliation a game,
Doesn't matter anyways,
She'll hurt just the same.

Indistinct they simply appease her,
Pretending understanding and concern,
She should've known better than to trust again,
When will she realise and learn?

Her good deeds are faded memories,
Forgotten to quickly and easily,
Her tally amounts to nothing,
Her existance hazy nobody really sees.

Yet she won't be untrue to herself,
Won't climb on life's soapbox,
Won't start arguements to taste the destruction,
She'll just continue cleaning her soul's locks.

She may be weak, feelings all too fragile,
But she is true to herself and her spirit,
She is one of God's children,
She won't hurt or condemn for she is far above that.

She knows the truth path,
She won't lower herself to hurt another,
For that is cruel and wrong,
She is better than all that, she is still strong.

Don't humiliate or hurt those like her,
There is something more creative to do,
Be true unto yourself and others,
Think carefully what you are about to do.

They think they understand,
They don't know the depth inside,
The true spirit of love and caring,
Isn't something she can hide.

The lesson here?
Don't waste time being petty and mean,
For each day you should be striving for great things,
Starting with a true soul that is clean.

She has that at least,
And for that she is grateful.......

Isis, you never cease to amaze me. A powerful lesson in this beautiful poem, that EVERYONE should learn, and live.

"Suicides have already betrayed the body.
Still born, they don't always die,
bu dazzled, they can't forget a drug so sweet
that even children would

Very well written Isis.  I have a 17 year old son this fits quite well. Immediately reminded me of him.  Thanks for the post.

~Isis,...getting my vote as well.  Wow,...you write the most amazing poems that feed my mind with wisdom.  Thank you for all the encouragement to live well.  Although they are poems to all, I take bits of what you say Isis and store them here in this head of mine. Thank you again.  You are everthing.  That title just hurts.  Great job here. *Peace.

Liked this Isis a lot.
"Starting with a true soul that is clean.
She has that at least
and for that she is grateful."
Yes I like the poem a lot but I think you have the wrong title.  I offer my suggestion..."She is Grateful and Strong."

Thanks so much Spitfire, it is wonderful to know that some of the little messages I put in get through to people. Seriously!  I want to share what I have learned and remind the reader things can be good again when they make the conscience decision.
Glad you are noting them, it means a lot!
James - I might change it to 'She is Strong'or 'She Will Prevail' ??
what do you think?< !signature-->

Well done. Unfortunatly, humanity can be like that: rude. Not taking a second out of our day to make someone feel happy.

Isis I like "She will prevail" but please take your time and decide if you want to change the title.  The substance of the poem is great and has lots of positive feelings to it...strength and courage and prevailing over adversities.  If you don't mind I thought of one more..."Still strong".
I just connected to the strength and humanity in this poem.  Take care and thanks for stopping by for a little visit in OP 8.  James
