I got your letter today Been weeks since the last one Seemed like months to me Guess I'm not having any fun. You sounded happy, exuberant your words--carelessly guileless-- were unforced, surprisingly cheerful, bereft of any sadness. Have you found comfort there? or some peace, perhaps? or some form of inspiration, however fleeting it may be? If ever so, my soul is pleased. May Providence hear my little prayer as He has always done before. I pray you find yourself, my friend, and whatever it is you're looking for. |

Wonderful poem!  I always find that reading a friend's letter brings a touch of nostalgia... and a longing to be with that friend again. I know your poem may not have necessarily been about what I just rambled about - but I thought I would say it anyway! |

To say good bye to a friend, or a part of our selves is ?? always heart wrenching. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

all i can see is you waving goodbye with those sad sad tears in your eyes. the mood i am in today, they always come crawling back anyway. remain their friend.
