It's hard for you to trust, you say But maybe you'll learn to believe me one day It's hard for you to trust because Of the things she says and the things she does It's hard for you to show emotion Hard for you to show devotion Hard for you kiss me back To show the feelings that you lack You wish that you could just move on Forget about her because now she's gone And you promise that you like me And right here is where you want to be But you say it's just too hard to get serious When she broke up with you, you were delirious And I try to understand just what you're going through How hard it would be to be with someone new But I just don't get it because I've never been there So I try to get you to open up; try to get you to share To show me why it's hard for you to believe That I will stick around...that I will never leave Because she said those same things too and she isn't here But I'm not her, I am me. Still you have some fear. And you say it's hard to be in a relationship right now But I didn't pursue you, you were the one who asked me out And you just keep saying it's so hard to do this...to do that But don't you see-it is just me? I don't care where we're at So, when you say it's hard, realize that it's hard for me too It's hard to be in a relationship with someone who's confused "Do not marry the one that you can live with. Marry the one you cannot live without." |

Yes, it sure is hard to love someone who is confused. Nicely expressed frustration with the situation. Maybe you should let him read it?? Thanks for your reply to my poem, also. Sandra |

Yep you said it all in this poem and so damn well also. Love has got to be a 2 way street yet some people just dont get it. I have been there and done that.
