I stood on the tallest mountain
And felt the breeze on my face
I closed my eyes
Imagined you here with me
Heard the gulls calling...
Your name.
Heard the surf crashing
Smelt the sweet pollen
I shivered
And opened my eyes
My mouth fell open
In wondrous surprise!
You stood before me
Arms open.
I had come home...

Ow I loved the images in this poem, quite haunting. really enjoyed reading it.

Heard the gulls calling...
Your name.
Heard the surf crashing
Smelt the sweet pollen
I shivered
And opened my eyes
My mouth fell open
In wondrous surprise!
You stood before me

What I like here is that it's impossible to tell which image is real and which fantasy (i think, am i wrong?).

Wonderful imagery and feeling to this.  What a homecoming in the arms of the one you love
