Yeah, self love is great...
Keeps me floatin' above the waves
Of death and deprave.
Not quite ready to rest in my grave.
Though it has been dug--
Rectangular,
Strangely snug.
I stand at the edge every day,
Contemplate jumpin' right in.
Smell the dirt,
Become one with the worms and things.
But my heart stops me everytime,
Desperately beggin' of me---

"Wait!!!! Please, wait!!!
I know not love of true!!!
Keep searching, however long,
No matter how blue.
Your grave will wait.
It is me that needs
Tending."

A woman to a man is
But a mere chapter,
But a man to a woman
Is an entire book.--

Some go on and some give up, and some just never arrive....but it's the excitment of the journey that's keeping me alive.
So many gifts Kynder...and so few worthy recipients.  One day, some way.....somehow.  It will happen.   Hardrock

Kynder this is kind of inspiring too!!  The weak easily give up and jump in that grave, it is the strong who succeed and eventually find their rewards both in life and the hereafter!!     The rainbow is even brighter now hon.  Good work

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....

That was great! The strangely snug grave already dug, what a picture. Stay away from the edge. Hey if I can still believe in love, anyone can.

I stand at the edge every day,
Contemplate jumpin' right in.

Yeah I know that feeling. It takes strength to turn away from the edge and and keep going.

God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown

Kyndrr, I'm a fighter, have been all my life, and yes I've fought this grave many times. Some days are easier than others.
Kynder I do believe in a true love, as you know I seek it now, and I fight for it every day, my next post will show I'm about to fight the biggest one of them all. Have ?? faith, kid.
love your work. hate your pain.

Joel

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
