Why do we hurt the ones we love?
we don't even have to try.
Something in us makes us say,
the things that makes them cry.

My time here is coming to an end,
I must be moving on.
My mind has taken over,
and my feeligs are all gone.

I had to turn my feelings off,
don't think me cold or cruel,
I don't want to hurt anyone,
but I'm done living like a fool.

I'm tired of lashing out,
in frustration and despair.
All I ever wanted,
was you to know I care.

Maybe I will keep silent,
you have shown me how.
I don't think it's over,
just on hold for now.

I have poured out my soul,
You know all of me.
I know nothing of how you feel,

when that choice is letting go.

Once I turn it off,
I doubt it comes back on.
I don't want to try again,
just to find my heart is gone.

I'm sure I missed a few.
Now I am shutting down,
so I'll never again hurt you

"It" is hard reality,
the things we all wish of.
are just broken dreams,
made whole by someones love.

What is worse than lost and hurt,
is feeling nothing at all.
With out love to blind your site,
you can see the fall.
