I wonder sometimes, about you. You know, I dont really remember much about you. Stories from Dad, pictures we had... all show a life so full, so loving. You were beautiful, a sadness filled your eyes that I never realized until now. I think now that Im alittle older, I can see it. Or perhaps its because I can feel it. I live in your shadow you know? Constantly wondering if I did everything alright growing up without you. I wonder where the times went when I was a teenager, sitting at the covered bridge and felt you in the air, in the swaying of the willow branches. Everytime I cried, I felt you. I need you here, I need you still... You see, I need someone to tell me who I am, to show me that I am real, that this life is not just someones bad dream. I need something real, something beautiful, something good. Not tainted and full of illusions. I need you here, To tell me that Ive done alright, that Im not wasting my life waiting for a love that will never be. waiting for a sign of what I am suppose to do... I have so many questions that need answers. So much longing, so much emptiness, Reaching out for you, but feeling as if you are even farther away now. Do you remember me? Mom, I need you here. |

This one just took my breath away... I can't imagine someone who could write such pure and touching words to ever do wrong. I'm sure your mom is up there watching over you, I'm sure, I strongly believe that. I wish I could say anything more to make you feel better except that I'm sure she remembers you wherever she is... Take care! |

Oh, so lonely, and sad. I know that your Mom is there in spirit. How hard it must be to go through life without a Mom. Very touching poem. Take care.
