Your Star I look high into the sky. I see the heavens that lye. So far past our naked eye. One star is for you! One star’s awe so true. The glow shines your way. The beams encompass you. In reflections of compassion. This star is yours forever. This star won’t fade. Never! In times of sadness; it will listen. In times of happiness; it will share. In times of darkness; it will glisten. In times of despair; it will be there. A friend that shines from above. A friend that lends its lights love. For if I were your shining star, I would shine Oh so the same. A path of light to forever remain. A gleam for you to cherish. A friend that will not parish. I will radiate from the sky. Always waiting, I will not hide. Let me be the twinkle in your eye |

Lar, this is a most beautiful sentiment. I hope you find the woman to appreciate it. I once knew a girl who was given a star for a birthday gift. Registered with the (whoever they are) that name stars, and it was named for her. This poem makes me think of that, and your offer to be that star for your love, is a sign of a true romantic. ~LarBear,...how very sweet this is. I love the stars,....who doesn't? The thought of you wanting to be that star for someone is the neatest thing to me. The stars are always there,...and it seems as if you would be too, for whoever this was intended for. Beautiful work. Be well LB. *Peace. |
