New forum cool, so I might as well be the first to unleash some darkness.
I hate to see an empty forum, and beside I want to be first to post in dark 2. hheheheh. Just feeding my ego.
===================================================
WHY

Gather round all curious minds,
question my penned words.
Analysis and scrutinise,
tear my characters limb from limb,
Sear the skin to the bone.
Examine the exposed frame and ask “why?”
For once I am mute,
No pen in hand I am dead.
No paper I am but a whisper.
Still I sit and bare a grin
until even I question “Why?”
===================================================
Diplomat

To all the evils of my lives I apologise
Kings of my live play their disguise,

All the unknown dreams I have ever damned
I’ll play the pieces for my love in slivered hate.

Down the alleyway she will mimic it
Crave for her signature on his breast, forcing out
All his blood to consume it in tongues of venom.
Reaching skyward she takes the Universe by its hands
And dances it away; Fighting she strangles all again.
We ( I at least ) will fade into the aerie to be born again.

I take the Cradle of humanity and exhaust it of all its empty beauty.
===================================================
Fastenings

Arresting in your arms,
curled into the fastenings
of your heart.
Vain pretences cast aside
in withered flower beds
forget all the doubts.
Allow me to rest here
with the fastenings of your face
with softening latches to cling to you.

I am losing grip here my love,
I feel I am slipping away.
Please, please cast out your hand,
I plea, plea to save me, my dear.
Sinking down through you fading
from my vision, capture one last
photograph and keep the negatives,
to the void where I belong
vanished there eternally
I will guard the fastenings
of your heart, curled in
the dream that one-day may be real.
===================================================
Infected

Wrapped up in my arms
I still fear I will collapse to dust.
Nursing the bruises my embrace inflicted;
the only visible evidence of my suffering.
I can not remember my scars history
yet they fail to heal and bled with every negative.
My body has been flung from mouth
to mouth of feeding wolves
for societies sadist needs.
They moulded me
They raped me
of child hood.
NOW TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
Can I escape to the comfort?
Must I wait for death to finally heal me?

Short poems,huh? What are mine then; miniscule?   Some good thughts here to get the spine tingling. I especially like the last poem - an indivdual pushed around and trampled on until there was no hope left, I take it. Very well expressed

taramw thank you for your wonderful reply. Infected was written about been bullied at school when I was younger. It is a demon that I have put to rest. These poems were written in a different place than the one I am in now. They are at least 2 years old, back when I was miserable and melodramatic. lol. Thanks for your response and I will take care.

Lotharingia...your poems miniscule? Your words not mine, and I would never say a thing like that, not until I have read some of them at least lol  . No seriously, thanks for your response. The last poem is exactly as you described it. thanks again.

I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive I am purity, they call me perverted
Holding you but I only miss these things when they leave

I am idiot drug hive, the virgin, the tattered and the torn Life is for the cold made warm and they are just lizards
Self-disgust is self-obsession honey and I do as I please A morality obedient, only to the cleansed repented

*I am stronger than Mensa, Miller and Mailer
I spat out Plath and Pinter I am all the things that you regret
A truth that washes that learnt how to spell

The first time you see yourself naked you cry Soft skin now acne, foul breath, so broken He loves me truly this mute solitude I'm draining I know I believe in othing but it is my nothing

Sleep can't hide the thoughts splitting through my mind Shadows aren't clean, false mirrors too many people awake If you stand up like a nail then you will be knocked down I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else * chorus
So damn easy to cave in, man kills everything (x4)
