Written by 9 year old Jennifer last October in anticipation of the coming of Halloween  WITCH POEM ~~~ One dark and scary night I crept outside to a fresh moon light I shouldn't have gone It was very dark I thought I saw a witch but that was just the start ~ The witch swooped down and tied me to her broom I tried to get free but what for I'm doomed ~ She took me to her castle it gave me quite a scare Okay it was so scary that I nearly lost my hair ~ She grabbed me by the arm and took me to her room She chained me to her table and left me with her broom ~ I looked around the bedroom and then I saw a tool I don't know what it's called but it looked pretty cool ~ It was laying right beside me so I grabbed it in my hand I used it on the chains and they broke now ain't that grand ~ I jumped down off the table and took the broom with me I said some magic words and out the window Weeeeeeeeee ~ Past the houses moon and stars and home to bed where I dream of chocolate bars ~~~~ Jennifer McCoy Oct 99 |
