(this is a tad 'off' for me, please bear with me, I was in an 'off' mood when I wrote this!)

our love grows in sweet abandon here
wild and free as a summer storm
passioned by thunder
fueled by lightening
a kinetic melding of spirits
in a garden of sparks and light
shattered not once but twice
by life's eerie turns
but yet,
driven on by unknown need
it grows stronger ever still
showering down in masses
of colour and sound
to come to rest in a sweet repose
on print weary eyes and ears
while jaded senses
revel in new found surround
as frozen heart warms
and blossoms anew
in a gentle garden of poetic peace

I am so enjoying today...this is nice...thoughtful but not without tumult, like a child spinning circles...excellent...

H - this is good work!
I know how you feel about off days..and others can't understand WHY you feel that way about a piece of work. But, we all know our own styles...lol...been there.\

All of those poems - go into the My Documents folder - with an 'In Progress' at the end of them...hehe

and remembered that it

Very beautiful, Heather! Doesn't seem 'off' to me at all!

Heather, knowing your trials and errors, it warms my heart to know you have found a modicum of reconciliation.  This one ain't 'off' at all...it's right on target.  And I loved the imagery: powerful naturistic bent.

btw, would you be so kind as to ping me via ICQ?  I'm having to rebuild my list yet again.

Well, well, well...I did get a sort of respite writing this
Thanks all for your replies...it made me feel better about this odd piece I wrote last night.
