Loving You

Certain that the day’s travels
Had drained our wells of strength,
Content to lay curled
head upon chest,
leg flung across waist
And in the laying there
Allowing awareness of
air softly stirring
With subtle variation,
Dust particles reversing direction
In three quarter time
with the arrhythmic beat
emanating from within,
hum from the ceiling fan slowing
as lips grow possessive
a sense of soaring, dreamily,
details lost in the abstract,
each yielding with the intent
to mirror as closely as possible
the essence of the other.

Funny how we find energy for some things when we think we were exhausted....lol
Lovely Poem.

            Oh, my...do you know how
            beautiful this is? So soft,

          Thank you for the pleasurable
                    moments!!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

Yes, Prometheus, finding an inner strength.

Wilfred, thank you so much, wasn't sure I could pull this one off, that words would fail to convey the emotions.

Sunny1, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you, too Brian!

What a wonderful picture this paints... rest, a sense of accomplishment and completion and most of all, that time spent being close to someone very special.  Very good indeed

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Corinne, this is so loving and softly sensual..

hum from the ceiling fan slowing
as lips grow possessive

I love the image from those two lines. Thanks for the little peak into your living room.
