The sea shell tells its tales
as it sings a song in the ocean breeze
stories of old captain hook
who rode to shore on an open book

shells sing a melody
of ships with gold
a fair maiden he stole
pure beauty to behold

sand and sea join together
in perfect harmony
a wedding song among sea gulls

fair maiden fair maiden
don't dispair, don't take flight
theres a full moon tonight

love in the air
swirling water everywhere
did she dare?

BloomingRose~
A fascinating read.

You've given new meaning to gathering seashells ....
I enjoyed this.

Such taunting beauty....almost as if a mermaid's song......the beauty is thrust upon us with every tidal surge....Loved it much.
