Were you most awake The day god Told you to die? Do you remember The exact color Of the sky? Was life to you One big mistaken Lie? The day god Told you To die? Did you Have trouble in Meeting his eye? Did you Remember to Wear a tie? Did you Eat a big piece of Mud-cigarette pie? The day god Told you To die? Did yr Lost love make You cry? Were you Afraid but did Not know why? Was a dove's imprint Suspended in The sky? The day god Told you To die? Did you yet again Forget how to Cry? Did you yet again Forget how to Sigh? Did you forget again To remember yr Goodbye? The day god Told you To die? Did you Remember to Ask her why? Did you think Of remembered pleasure Down yr thigh? Did you ever question His or her Eye? The day god Told you To die. |
